Anicca

“Some time had passed since my last trip. I noticed my memories had just started to fade but were somehow holding on.

It made me think about how ideas continuously form, while the older ones fade and some refuse to.

I found that the Buddhist concept of Anicca meaning – Constantly changing, arising and passing away resembled my experience.”

In attempts by the artist to keep a memory alive and to not be let down by one’s own mind when it comes to remembering. It touches the themes of longing, nostalgia and a will to hold on to the past.
