Dialogue

This painting, born from my travels across the world, holds the texture of that exchange. Rows of small dwellings rise from a shifting field of blue, gold, and rust — a city remembered rather than depicted, built from the layered impressions a place leaves behind rather than its literal likeness.
My hope is that this dialogue doesn’t end with me. I want the viewer to stand before the work and begin their own exchange with it — to let it become a quiet, personal space where looking turns into something closer to self-recognition, and the painting becomes a mirror as much as a window.
