Four Dimension

Prafulla Nayse

Siddharth Shingade

Niteen Rangdal

Satyajeet Shinde

The work of an art whether realistic or abstract are relatively viewed and viewer try to relate it to his own existence, past experience, likes and dislikes.  It is then obvious  that every painting, at least figurative, conjure up memories of similar scene that viewer has   witnessed in the past. It is 'this' relative experience which help to accept artist's  interpretation. The young artist Siddharth Singade's paintings however need no interpretation as, at the first glance itself one can easily relate with them. These paintings are mirror of  village social life and nostalgic reflection of artist's yearning for village life at his native place Latur which he missed after migration to Mumbai.  In his painting 'couple' Siddharth has employed colour symbolism. The female figure depicted with transparent mute yellow and her companion  with opaque black represents the depressing union with compelling unity due to interdependency.

Satyajeet Shinde's fascination with athletic body is found expression in his paintings of god Hanuman. Satyajeet uses acrylic on canvas and his visible brush strokes enhance the powerful, sturdy look of  hanuman. The virtues such as courage, power and faithfulness, selfless service for which Hanuman is renowned and worshipped in every house is what artist is trying to reflect through his paintings.

Niteen Rangdal is dealing with the complex issue of 'space' through his  acrylic paintings. The colossal figure occupying almost full canvas, the head entangled in the  web are his pictorial elements which are shown struggling to fight with the surrounding. Though  subject of 'space' is beyond direct representation, artist has tried to dealt it symbolically.

Prafulla Nayse is exploring the clash of civilizations and his painting 'Death of Culture' is an endeavour to highlight the cultural & religious identities which are main source of social conflict in modern world.  Prafulla while working in acrylic, use lots of blue and tune the entire composition to a peaceful colour harmony, focusing on the need of present day -  a perpetual peace !
